trees protected by Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas
and/or Planning Conditions. 
The
protection of trees within development schemes has improved in
recent years and it is a pre-requisite of planning approval that
trees are afforded effective protection at the early stages of
construction. ACS works with developers to identify the trees to be
retained and to subsequently oversee the implementation of the tree
protection measures which are set out in BS 5837:2005 'Trees in
relation to construction - Recommendations'.
